New Tune: Sky Blue Pink

Recently, one of our friend's father was diagnosed with cancer. Cancer sucks.

In an effort to bring a little joy to his father each day, our friend Brandon started the #skybluepink campaign. Anyone can join in by posting and sending pictures of his father Brian's favorite color, "sky blue pink" on twitter, facebook, instagram, LinkedIn (k maybe not LinkedIn.) The support from around the world has been pretty awe-inspiring to witness.

In his message, Brandon shares an important lesson he learned from his father and "sky blue pink."

We love that message. We love Brandon, and in turn, we love his dad, too.

Appreciate what you have, love everyone you can, and do what you want to do. #SkyBluePink

GSGS Takes a Field Trip to The Avett Brothers

Things we learned:

1. Whiskey counts as a packed lunch.
2. Siblings voices blend to perfection.
3. You can have more than one lead singer. Lucky for Taylor, nobody takes Dan or Anthony seriously.
4. Country hipsters exist.

We had a blast. If you missed it, get off your duff and see some shows, ya goofballs.

 

College Love: GSGS in the UNL Student Newspaper

Sometimes we still wish we were in college. So, thank you, Daily Nebraskan, for making us feel like we were again.
